Cuando utilicen "mein/meine" para formar sus oraciones recuerden que:
mein - der, das (el pronombre posesivo se cambio por los artículos)
meine - die
Meine Schultasche (die) ist schwer. Mi mochila está pesada.
Mein Buch (das) ist geschlossen. Mi libro está cerrado.
Traten de usar siempre el verbo "ser" ya que así sólo utilizan el nominativo.
Para tener siempre presente la conjugación del verbo la colocaré a continuación.
